There are several Committees of the Red River Basin Commission.

Long Term Flood Solutions Committees

Communications Committee- The Communications Committee is responsible for designing an information/education program to help familiarize Basin residents with the Red  River Basin Commission and to begin the process of building a heightened water management awareness level across a broad spectrum of Basin residents.

Plan Implementation Committee - This Committee was formed to guide the Commission through its planning process and implementation of the Natural Resources Framework Plan.

Inventory Task Force -  Nine Inventory Work Teams have assessed the nature and extent of information already available regarding the Basin's land and water management problems, opportunities and issues. 

 
Regional Trans-Boundary Watershed Groups

• Roseau River International Watershed
• South Valley Initiative
• Pembina River Basin Advisory Board

Special Task Forces - Special Task Forces were created to focus on specific  problem areas.
