There are several committees of the Red River Basin Commission.

Communications Committee- The Communications Committee is responsible for designing an information/education program to help familiarize Basin residents with the Red River Basin Commission and to begin the process of building a heightened water management awareness level across a broad spectrum of Basin residents.

Plan Implementation Committee - This Committee was formed to guide the Commission through its planning process and implementation of the plan.

Inventory Task Force -  Nine Inventory Work Teams have assessed the nature and extent of information already available  regarding the Basin's land and water management problems, opportunities and issues.

Special Task Forces - Special Task Forces have been created to focus on specific problem areas.
