About the event
We plan to visit a variety of projects of the SWCD and watershed district, as well as some municipal and federal projects in the Red Lake Watershed District and Thief River Falls areas. Among other sites, we plan to visit the Black River Impoundment, the TRF West Side Flood Damage Reduction Project, Agassiz National Wildlife Refuge, and the SWCD Demrais/Hanson 1W1P Project.
We will have a bus that will pick up participants in both Fargo and Crookston, and the tour will both start and end at UMC in Crookston. If boarding in Crookston, please plan to meet the bus at 8:45am at UMC so that the bus will be ready to leave by 9am. Boarding in Fargo will take place at the Fargo RRBC office (1120 28th Ave N) at 7am.
