Netley-Libau Marsh Restoration
Help Save Netley-Libau Marsh!
Located in the south basin of Lake Winnipeg, Netley-Libau Marsh is the largest freshwater coastal wetland in North America. It is the habitat to many wildlife species and vegetation vital to the ecological success of surrounding habitats and communities.

Over the past century, the marsh has greatly deteriorated from nutrient runoff, invasive species, and water mismanagement. The restoration project seeks to heal the marsh back to its full potential.
